The country\u2019s examination system has been plagued by cheating over recent years, particularly in high schools. &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.egypttoday.com\/Article\/1\/33206\/MP-calls-for-installing-cameras-at-examination-halls-in-universities\"> Full report on the Egypt Today site\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Students&#8217; union to investigate campus sexual harassment (UK)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sexual harassment in universities is to be investigated by the National Union of Students, which is conducting the United Kingdom\u2019s first survey of staff sexual misconduct in higher education.\u00a0Students will be asked whether they have experienced or witnessed sexual misconduct by staff and about their experience of reporting this behaviour to their institution.\u00a0The National Union of Students said this was particularly important given recent findings that one-third of the UK\u2019s universities did not have a policy on staff-student relationships.\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2017\/nov\/17\/nus-to-investigate-sexual-harassment-at-universities\">Full report on The Guardian site\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Universities to introduce course to counter extremism (Pakistan)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alarmed by the rising trend of extremism among students, Pakistan\u2019s top universities gathered in Islamabad to discuss their role in countering the threat of radicalisation and instilling peaceful ideology.\u00a0As many as 80 university vice-chancellors attended the conference on \u201cthe role of universities in advancing national narrative to counter violence, extremism and terrorism\u201d last Monday, organised by the Islamic Research Institute of International Islamic University, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The participants said sectarian hatred and imposing one\u2019s ideology was against the constitution of Pakistan.
