UP was established in 1908 after being known as the campus of the Transvaal Technical Institute, established in 1904. The latter institute was renamed to Transvaal University College in 1906. The different faculties at UP have evolved to be the nine faculties we know in 2022. Here we look at a brief history of the faculties at UP.
